Richard works in DREEAM as our Commerical Interprofessional Educator. He teaches on several of our courses, including teaching third and final year medical students on attachment in the Emergency Department, registered and unregistered nurses primary and urgent care teams.
His work involves small group teaching, lecturing, and teaching through simulation, with particular interests in V&C, ECG, and Wound care with supervised practice. Richard has over 20 years combined service with Nottingham City Renal Dialysis and NUH Emergency Department/DREEAM and over 30 years Pre-Hospital Care experience.
Outside of work, Richard is a Community First Responder and a member of Nottingham Search and Rescue Team. He enjoys DIY, walking and photography when he has time. Richard also enjoys chauffeuring his 5 grandchildren around, he is known as 'Grandad Uber'.
