Catherine Hearnshaw

Catherine Hearnshaw has been a consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at the Royal Derby Hospital since 2019.  She did her Core Paediatric training in West Midlands, was teaching fellow at Birmingham Children's Hospital ED before completing PEM Grid training at Royal Derby Hospital.  She is currently Lead for child death, Lead for sepsis and has an interest in Medical Education and well-being.

Outside of work Cat has 3 lively boys who she enjoys spending time with.  She enjoys trying to keep fit and has recently taken up doing Park runs following following maternity leave with her 3^rd child.
