Overview
The emergency care skills day is designed to allow nurses working in the emergency department to develop and consolidate skills that are required to work in the resuscitation room. On this day you will cover Non-invasive ventilation, rapid transfusion using a belmont device, tracheostomy and laryngectomy care, with the opportunity to practice these technical skills in the learning environment. You will also discuss non-technical skills, and human factors that impact the ability to provide care to patients in the resuscitation room.

The course is for nurses within the Emergency Department at NUH only.
