Laura joined the Undergraduate Medical Teaching Faculty in June 2024, after spending 18 months working as Health Improvement Teaching Fellow in DREEAM.

Laura graduated from the University of Southampton in 2009 and has over ten years of clinical experience in urgent and emergency care.  She completed the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at the University of Nottingham in 2020 and alongside her teaching role works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the Adult Emergency Department at QMC.  She has particular interest in inclusion healthcare and reducing the impact of health inequalities in the local community. 

Outside of work Laura enjoys going to gigs and festivals, playing hockey and walking her beloved golden retriever, Holly, who is a very good girl.
