Overview
The course will expand the skill set of healthcare providers, making them proficient in ultrasound-guided techniques applicable in various clinical settings.
This will enhance patient safety by providing real-time visualization and reducing complications.
There will improve success rates, particularly in patients with difficult veins, by accurately identifying suitable veins and insertion sites thereby reducing complications and costs associated with multiple insertion attempts.

Upon completing a course in Ultrasound Guided Peripheral IV Access, participants will:
1. Understand ultrasound principles and equipment operation.
2. Identify and assess veins using ultrasound.
3. Visualize needles and perform ultrasound guided IV insertions.
4. Ensure patient safety and manage complications.
5. Gain practical hands-on training and apply techniques in various clinical settings.
6. Comply with various trust procedures for care of patients and equipment
