Recognising potential research participants is valuable in itself to the unit, the research community, and the patient. Getting involved in research is also a great opportunity for training and will be great for your portfolio.

However, if you want to get involved in the running of research studies, the first step is to complete the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and write a research CV.

Contact the DREEAM research team if you are interested and we will send you a CV template and assist you in any way we can.

Good Clinical Practice Training

If you are interested in getting more involved then you need to complete GCP Training.

This online course can be accessed free on the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Learn website; the certificates last for two years but then a much shorter refresher can be completed.

Please follow the link and create an account to access the course.

Research CV

Once you have a research CV template you will need to complete, sign and send it back to the DREEAM research team.

If you are just starting out in research, this may only include your GCP and consent training, however we are here to help you expand your CV.
