Sarah Davies

Sarah is a PEM GRID trainee based at St Mary’s Hospital in London.

She is a medical education enthusiast with varied experience designing and delivering educational initiatives at local, regional and national level. She has been part of the PEMadventures scriptwriting team since 2017 and is delighted to be contributing to the Neptune conference with them.

Sarah  has a strong interest in child mental health and has combined this with her passion for simulation to create training packages in acute presentations of mental illness. She is also involved with the development of a new version of the ALSG Acute Psychiatric Emergencies course for paediatric staff.

Bringing together her penchant for the psychological with her educational  experience, Sarah is developing a growing interest in staff wellbeing and in particular the role that coaching can play in professional development. She helped to run  the London Deanery’s first ever group coaching course  for “trainees in transition” and hopes to nurture this interest further as she herself transitions to consultancy.

Out of work Sarah can usually be found running around after her three children or, on the rare occasion she gets the chance, enjoying some peace and quiet out on her bike.
