Cannulation
This course has been devised to support both primary and secondary care workers in learning the vital skill of cannulation.
Participants benefit from both theory and practical sessions throughout the day and are able to practise, in safety, on a simulation arm.
You’ll learn different cannulation types, best cannulation sites, the difference between an intravenous cannulation and an arterial cannula, as well as best practice when it comes to inserting a cannula.
Please be aware that this course will provide you with the theory behind the practice and will not involve any clinical assessment time/sign off.
